Can ZERO equal 1.618?

A comic sketched for my recent artistic installation "A Weaver's Tales", June 2019 at ArtEZ University of the Arts.

1.618.The Golden Ratio, the Divine Proportion. 1.618. There is an undeniable beauty within any pattern emerging from phi. This is not an assumption; it has been scientifically tested. There a vast amount of fixed knowledge and scientific justification imbued in this number. This comic is a first attempt to metaphorically inhibit its fixed cognition and touch upon issues of identity and categorization.

Quote on 5th page by Frank Herbert, Dune:

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
